Wayne Luckett is the founder and president of Branwar Wine Distributing Co. Branwar Wine serves as an importing and wholesale distribution company for premier wines from around the world. These wines are available in upscale restaurants, wine bars and country clubs across major market areas in Texas.
Wayne is a retired telecommunications executive formerly involved with new technology and venture developments in Africa and the United States. In this capacity, he has been recognized for his leadership and contributions associated with the world class development and privatization of South Africa’s telecommunication company.
Wayne received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Houston and is an active member in both church and community. He is a member of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, serves on the board for several non-profit community organizations and is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
A native of San Antonio, Texas, Wayne is the husband of Patricia Luckett and the father of two sons, Brandon and Warren. In his free time, he enjoys travelling and golf. |
